A hot air balloon appears in the jungle, causing Kimba (Leo) and his friends to be suspicious. Kimba encounters Marody and his two grandsons Keruru & Amaji, who are Barbary lions, thought to be extinct. They manage to drive Kimba away from Marody's cliff.
