Maison Ikkoku

A romantic comedy created by Rumiko Takahashi, the series follows Kyoko Otonashi, a recently widowed woman who becomes the manager of an apartment house called Ikkoku-kan. Yusaku Godai, a ronin preparing for college entrance exams, moves in and instantly falls in love with her. Their relationship develops amid the interactions with other tenants, including Yotsuya, Ichinose, and Akemi. Meanwhile, tennis coach Shun Mitaka is also interested in Kyoko, and Godai faces romantic attention from Nanao Kozue and Ibuki Yagami.
