Ayato's life is falling apart. His mother isn`t who she seems to be, and his friends seem to have been sent to spy on him. (Source: HIDIVE) Ayato, horrified of the sight of blue blood emitting from Maya, unknowing causes the RahXephon to act on its own at the base. Hiroko is also given proof that her friends and family were not what they appeared to be. The RahXephon is attacked by a Dolem named Falsetto yet is able to defeat it. Hiroko is scared away when Mamoru is among the Mulian society. As Ayato runs out of the house, he finds Hiroko, who begs him to escape with her.
