Ayato’s life unravels as his mother’s true nature is revealed and friends appear to be spies. Horrified by blue blood emitting from Maya, Ayato inadvertently causes the RahXephon to act autonomously at the base. Hiroko discovers that her family and friends were not what they seemed. The RahXephon engages and defeats a Dolem named Falsetto. When Mamoru appears among the Mulian society, Hiroko is frightened away. Ayato flees his home and encounters Hiroko, who pleads for him to escape with her. He summons the RahXephon to transport both of them out of Tokyo Jupiter, marking a significant departure from their previous circumstances.
