Thirteen years ago, the Monster Army attacked Earth, prompting the Divine Dragon Rangers to emerge as defenders. Initially seen as humanity's final defense, the war actually ended quickly, with the defeated invaders compelled to produce one monster weekly for the Rangers to battle in front of audiences. A monster, however, has grown tired of this arrangement and decides to resist. Rather than fight from the outside, it chooses to undermine the Rangers by infiltrating their ranks and working from within to dismantle them.
