Kyon has been caught up in numerous unusual situations due to his involvement with the SOS Brigade and its energetic leader, Haruhi Suzumiya. Initially skeptical of anything supernatural, he has encountered events that defy rational explanation since joining the club. Alongside him are Mikuru Asahina, who is quiet and reserved, Yuki Nagato, who is studious, and Itsuki Koizumi, who is consistently upbeat. Whether during summer break or a school event, any activity involving the club and Haruhi tends to become unpredictable. This version of the series is a re-airing of the original Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, presented in chronological order from the DVD release, with 14 new episodes added.
