Toushou Daimos

Survivors from the destroyed planet Barm travel to Earth to negotiate land for relocation. During the talks, Barmian leader Leon is killed by his subordinate, Olban, with Earth's delegation wrongly blamed. Doctor Isamu Ryuuzaki of Earth is fatally wounded in the incident. Following the failed negotiations, the Barmians, known as Valerians in another title, launch a terror campaign led by Leon's son, Admiral Richter, using Mecha Soldiers to attack Earth. The planet's only defense is the transforming, karate-equipped super robot Daimos, piloted by Kazuya Ryuuzaki. Kazuya later meets Erika, a mysterious girl who is revealed to be Richter's sister. As they face challenges together, both come to understand that not all members of their respective groups are entirely good or evil.
