At the start of the 21st century, in the Uchihama area, Uchihama Academy is undergoing rapid expansion with a new school building set to replace the old one. The final General Club Festival will be held at the aging structure before its closure. Students are determined to make the event memorable. The Astronomy Club, which includes the protagonist Sou Akiyama, consists of prominent students on campus. On October 1, just before the festival, the club is asked by the student executive committee to address growing student concerns. Reports of ghost sightings, accidents, and unexplained cases of sleeping sickness have emerged in the old building. When Yui Furukawa, a quiet student who recently transferred to the school, appears to Sou, a series of events begins to unfold.
