A young man named Shirou Kamui returns to Tokyo after six years, possessing strong psychic abilities. He is determined to safeguard the well-being of his childhood friends Fuuma and Kotori, even by keeping his distance from them. However, he cannot escape his role in a larger conflict, as he is given the choice to become either a Dragon of Heaven or a Dragon of Earth. This decision places the future of the world in his hands. Others with predetermined roles, known as the Seven Seals and the Seven Angels, also gather, each bound by their own fates in a struggle that will determine the world's outcome. Kamui must decide which future will unfold.
