You Yao

The imperial court recruits foreigners for roles based on their skills, aiming to modernize the outdated system. Zuo Yun Qi, a dissident, infiltrates the court by pretending to be one of these foreigners to rescue his father. His deception is uncovered by a landlord skilled in identifying genuine foreigners. Their encounter leads to a series of confrontations that blend humor with tension, eventually prompting them to work together. They thwart a conspiracy, but learn of another Foreigner who has formed a secret alliance to dismantle the existing regime and establish a new, unrestricted society. Zuo Yun Qi and his allies must now respond to this new threat.
