Youkai Watch

A primary school student discovers a strange capsule toy machine while exploring the woods and inserts money as instructed. After retrieving a capsule, a ghostly creature named Whisper appears and becomes his Yo-kai butler, gifting him a Yo-kai Watch. The watch allows the wearer to see Yo-kai, supernatural beings usually invisible to humans, and to summon those they have befriended. Each Yo-kai has unique magical abilities. Using the watch, the student and Whisper encounter various Yo-kai in their town, helping to resolve the problems they cause and forming friendships along the way.
