In a near-future setting, humanity has constructed an orbital elevator and is actively exploring the outer planets when an unknown alien force called "Obliquus" emerges as a threat. In response, the Khronos Foundation recruits the descendants of historical figures from various nations, including Japan's Musashi Miyamoto and Ryōma Sakamoto, as well as France's Napoleon and Joan of Arc. These individuals are combined with advanced "Gear" battle suits, transforming them into specialized weapons known as "Khronos Gear."
