EP 1Kumiko Oumae rejoint le groupe de concert de Kitauji après s'être reconnectée avec Reina Kousaka
8 avr. 2015Euphonium player Kumiko Oumae inadvertently creates a rift with trumpeter and fellow band member Reina Kousaka upon losing their final concert band competition in junior high. On the first day of high school, she befriends classmates Hazuki Katou and Sapphire "Midori" Kawashima. Midori, who used to play the double bass, suggests that the three go check out the Kitauji concert band club. As they are being greeted by club president Haruka Ogasawara and vice president Asuka Tanaka, Kumiko is shocked to meet Reina again as the latter goes to join the band. While struggling to come to terms with her earlier surprise meeting with Reina, Kumiko runs into childhood friend Shuichi Tsukamoto on the way home, who also tells her of his intentions to join. Though initially unsure, with encouragement from Midori and Hazuki (who has just bought a mouthpiece), Kumiko decides to finally join the band the next day. (Source: Wikipedia)

EP 8Kumiko et Reina grimpent au mont Daikichi tandis que Hazuki avoue ses sentiments à Shuuichi lors du festival d'Agata.
27 mai 2015Picking up immediately from where episode 7 left off, Kumiko denies being romantically involved with Shuuichi, relieving both Hazuki and Sapphire. Around this time, the Agata festival - an event closely associated with romantic interest - is to take place, and the concert band members work out whom each of them is going to the festival with. It is revealed that Gotou Takuya and Nagase Riko are dating when Natsuki mentions they will be going to the festival together. Later on, Shuuichi asks Kumiko to go to the festival with him, which creates a love triangle between Shuuichi, Hazuki and Kumiko. Kumiko's attempts to ignore Shuuichi fail when he misinterprets her actions as an opening to talk, and the whole effort ends with Shuuichi going to the festival with Hazuki, while Kumiko inadvertently ends up going with Kousaka Reina. The day of the festival arrives. Sapphire and her little sister see Hazuki off before Shuuichi arrives; at the same time, Kumiko and Reina ignore the festival altogether and climb up Mount Daikichi with their instruments. Meanwhile, at the festival, Hazuki confesses her feelings to Shuuichi, but is rejected and thereafter declares her support in getting Shuuichi together with Kumiko instead, mentioning that a tuba's role is supporting others from the sideline. Back with Kumiko and Reina, the latter divulges her interest in spending more time with Kumiko, stating that Kumiko's distant personality - nothing like the 'nice girl' she presents herself as - is attractive to her. Reina reveals that she has no interest in fitting in, but rather wants to be something special, which is why she plays the trumpet. The day ends with the two of them playing a piece from their middle school concert band repertoire atop the mountain, leading into the day of the auditions.
EP 9Les membres du club font face aux tensions des auditions et aux réflexions romantiques avant les annonces des solos
3 juin 2015After the festival, members of the club resume practice and frankly evaluate each others' playing, but events from the festival and looming auditions influence performances, leading to tension between members. Individually they continue to prepare for auditions, contemplate romantic developments and discuss personal relationships amongst themselves. Later, the auditions are held, based solely on ability and with disregard for seniority, to accommodate the limited number of chairs available at an upcoming concours. The results of the auditions are announced by the music teacher reading out loud the names of those who passed during club assembly. Members who are selected acknowledge their inclusion while those who are not react with disappointment. The announcement that Reina will perform the solo parts for trumpet is met with surprise from several members. (Source: Wikipedia)
EP 10Les membres du groupe soupçonnent Taki d'avoir favorisé Reina lors des auditions, ce qui pousse à proposer de régler leur méfiance grandissante.
