This animated anthology features six distinct episodes, each directed by a different filmmaker and based on the DC Comics character Batman. The episodes include "Have I Got a Story for You," directed by Shoujirou Nishimi of Studio 4℃; "Crossfire," by Futoshi Higashide of Production I.G.; "Field Test," by Hiroshi Morioka of Bee Train; "In Darkness Dwells," by Yasuhiro Aoki of Madhouse; "Working Through Pain," again by Toshiyuki Kubooka of Studio 4℃; and "Deadshot," directed by Jong-Sik Nam of Madhouse. Each installment explores different aspects of the Batman mythos through varied storytelling styles and animation techniques.
