A year after a major defeat inflicted by Zhao, the State of Qin refocuses on King Ying Zheng’s goal of unifying China by conquering the remaining states. Wei, a smaller state strategically positioned, becomes the next target. Xin, now leading the Fei Xin Unit with 300 men, aims for recognition and honors those lost in past battles. As Qin prepares for war against Wei, Xin faces rivalry from more privileged young commanders. Meanwhile, political tensions rise within the Qin royal court as factions challenge Ying Zheng’s rule. Both Zheng and Xin navigate external conflicts and internal strife, striving to shape history through their efforts in the ongoing war.
