Gintoki and the gang are suffering from the mother of all hay fevers. One theory suggests the cause is a plant from a far-off planet, but no facts are available, and when Otose is forced to close her shop due to hay fever, it becomes apparent this is a serious situation. One day a new resident named Hedoro moves in to Kabukicho, and the Odd Jobs crew learn that the menacing-looking Amanto runs a flower shop right next to their office. When it turns out that all the pollens are originating from the shop, the Odd Jobs suspect Hedoro is trying to weaken the population with hay fever and take over the world.
