Kirito and his childhood friend Eugeo were raised in Rulid village, and they’ve been tasked with chopping down a colossal black tree called the Gigas Cedar. This is their Calling. Today, they’re at it again, swinging their axe, when their childhood friend Alice arrives with homemade pie for them. As they eat, the three friends decide to venture to the fabled cave in the End Mountains.
