He lives with his extended family at a young age and grew particularly close to his aunt Yukiko. Motivated by Yukiko to make something of himself, Suou became the Meijin using his gift. Back in the forth round, Harada-sensei takes the lead, but Suou catches up as the round progresses and the unique syllables change. Harada-sensei notes that Suou stopped paying attention to the Queen's match. Harada-sensei later sends the Naniwae card, which he believes will not be read.
