Shinobu wins the Queen match after Inokuma faults, securing her third consecutive title. Suou’s backstory is revealed, showing he lives with his extended family and bonds with his aunt Yukiko. He discovers in university that he shares her affliction, which causes blindness if it worsens. Driven by Yukiko, he becomes Meijin. In the fourth round, Harada-sensei leads initially, but Suou catches up as syllables change. Harada notes Suou distractedly watched the Queen match. Harada sends the Naniwae card, expecting it to go unread. Suou notices but cannot return it. The round concludes based on luck.
