Hyakkimaru senses an unusual evil air when the warrior Sabame rides by with his wife Maimaiyonba inside a bullock-drawn wagon. Maimaionba also senses something extraordinary about Hyakkimaru, and asks Sabame to kill him. Hyakkimaru escapes the attack, however when the couple arrive home they find Dororo and Hyakkimaru there who refuse to leave. That night the travellers are attacked by a moth-like monster spraying sliver powder, whom Hyakkimaru realizes is Maimaiyonba. In her storehouse they find Maimaionba's moth eggs. The following night they lay a trap, and after Dororo sets the monster on fire, Hyakkimaru kills it with his blades. After it dies, Hyakkimaru's leg grows back. (Source: Wikipedia)
