Ep. 21: Hyakkimaru and Dororo confront a moth monster that transforms Maimaiyonba.

Hyakkimaru detects malevolent energy as Sabame transports his wife Maimaiyonba in a wagon. Maimaiyonba senses Hyakkimaru’s uniqueness and orders Sabame to eliminate him, but Hyakkimaru evades the assault. Upon reaching their residence, the couple discovers Hyakkimaru and Dororo refusing to depart. That evening, a moth-like creature spraying silver powder attacks the travelers, revealing itself as Maimaiyonba. Inside her storehouse, the group finds her moth eggs. The next night, they set a trap; Dororo ignites the monster, allowing Hyakkimaru to destroy it with his blades. Following the creature's death, Hyakkimaru’s leg regenerates completely.
