Lupin and his gang blow up Fontaubert Bank's underground safe to steal 5 tons worth of gold, but someone has beat them to it. The thieves are a pair of disguise artists named John and Mary. While searching for the pair, Lupin is captured by Inspector Zenigata. The two seek shelter from the snowstorm in an elderly couple's mountain cabin, but soon a flood of unwanted visitors come barging in.
