A fourth-grade boy who enjoys video games purchases one from a traveling salesgirl and assists her in selling others. After completing the game "King Sccasher," the girl appears through his television, identifying him as the descendant of a chosen hero named Lamuness. She is Princess Milk, who transports him to Hara-Hara World, where his mission is to awaken the Guardian Knights. To accomplish this, he must locate and activate the shrine containing Tama-Q, a robot that becomes Lamuness's advisor and is essential for freeing the knights. The Guardian Knights are independent-thinking mechas, with the exception of King Sccasher, which is controlled by Lamuness. His adversaries include Don Harumage and his subordinates, Da Cider and Lesuka.
