Suisei no Gargantia

In the distant future, a conflict rages between the Human Galactic Alliance and a hostile species known as the Hidiaazu. During a battle, Lieutenant Ledo and his mobile weapon, Chamber, are pulled into a space-time distortion. Ledo awakens from hibernation on Earth, a planet now mostly submerged and inhabited by people living on massive fleets. He lands on the Gargantia fleet, where survivors scavenge the ocean floor for resources. There, he meets Amy, a 15-year-old messenger girl, and must adapt to a life without war. Unfamiliar with Earth's history and customs, Ledo experiences a new reality far removed from the battles he once knew.
