Tetsuwan Birdy

A remake of a prior story, it features Birdy Cephon Altirra, an interplanetary police officer who is both attractive and impulsive. During a chase, she unintentionally causes the death of Tsutomu, a human high school student. To atone, Birdy agrees to merge her body with Tsutomu's spirit, allowing him to live on. Initially unaware of his new condition, Tsutomu gradually notices his body acting independently, especially in moments of action, when Birdy assumes complete control and reverts the body to her original female form.
