Miyamo Chio is a high school freshman at Samejima Academy, where she aims to go unnoticed. Despite her efforts, she faces various challenges on her way to school. Along the way, she encounters Nonomura Manana, a friend attempting to move past her otaku lifestyle, and Hosokawa Yuki, a top student who holds a prominent position in school. Many other unnamed individuals also cross her path. Chio uses techniques she learned from Western video games, though they often prove ineffective in helping her navigate her daily routine.
