By 2071, a system of cross-dimensional energy inductors known as "coils" provides a near-limitless power supply by drawing from the W dimension, a fourth spatial plane. Unauthorized coils operate outside legal boundaries, using energy in ways the authorities cannot easily stop. Kyoma, a repo man who detests coils, is tasked with retrieving these illegal devices. His encounter with Mira, an android linked to a rare coil, results in an uneasy alliance between the two.
