A magical notebook known as a Kiss Note causes immediate love between anyone whose names are written in it when they kiss. The notebook belongs to Guri, an angel tasked with forming couples. She mistakenly writes the name of a typical high school student, Aino Seiji, and without him kissing someone, she will die. Guri persuades Seiji to kiss Hiyama Akane, a popular student he admires, who reciprocates his feelings intensely. As Akane and Seiji grow closer, Guri also develops feelings for him.
