Logan saves Tesshin Asano from a group AIM troops. Asano tells Logan about the whereabouts of his love interest Mariko Yashida who was taken by her father Shingen's crime organisation Kuzuryu a year ago to arrange a marriage with Hideki Kurohagi to expand his operations.
