Logan saves Tesshin Asano from AIM troops, learning that Asano’s love interest, Mariko Yashida, was taken by her father Shingen’s crime organization, Kuzuryu, a year ago. Shingen arranged for Mariko to marry Hideki Kurohagi to expand his operations. Logan travels to Tokyo and infiltrates the Yashida household, where he is confronted by Shingen. The two engage in a duel, but Logan is subsequently drugged by Hideki.
