Kiki Haruma once wanted to perform ballroom dance in the feminine partner role, but as she grew taller, she stopped seeing herself in traditionally feminine roles and switched to the masculine leading role. In her second year of high school, after her partner abruptly leaves, she seeks a new one. When Michiru Toribami, a small and attractive first-year, joins the ballroom dance club, Kiki asks her to partner with her. Michiru, however, insists on dancing only as the leader and requests to partner with Kiki instead.
