Ryo then issues a challenge: if Mariko can steal Ryo's Wallet, then Mariko can continue as a pickpocket. Otherwise she must quit the profession. At the same time, Saeko and Reika hire Ryo to help them bust a smuggling ring headed by the Lodos Mafia at a large masquerade.
