Godzilla continues moving through Tokyo and spreading red dust. It is attacked by a giant, more advanced Rodan, but Godzilla quickly kills the Rodan by firing a glowing ring of energy from its mouth. Yun deduces that Godzilla itself is also a Singular Point as he and Haberu return to the abandoned mansion, where they discover that a series of coded numbers in the broadcast song are also in Ashihara's notes, suggesting that Ashihara was also listening to the broadcast using the hidden radio. Yun realizes that the coded times and dates correspond to many of the messages that he and Mei have exchanged regarding the archetypes and the Catastrophe. Mei arrives in India and is greeted by Lina, BB's daughter, who escorts her to the Shiva Consortium's headquarters. While Yun and Haberu continue their research, the military prepare to launch a full offensive against Godzilla. Satō learns that Ashihara grew up in a fishing village which was attacked and destroyed by a giant monster similar to Godzilla; the monster was eventually killed, and Ashihara purchased the Misakioku building to conceal and study its skeleton. In India, Salunga escapes from the Shiva facility via a cave network, surfaces in a village nearby and begins rampaging through the town, generating a storm of red dust. BB and his soldiers use their Diagonalyzer rockets to crystallize the red dust, impaling Salunga on the resulting crystal spikes. In Tokyo, the broadcast from Misakioku begins again, while the military launches a massive attack against Godzilla. The attack initially seems to be working, until Godzilla undergoes another transformation into its ultimate form: it generates a powerful atomic ray from its mouth and destroys a large section of Tokyo, setting the city ablaze.
