With the barrier destroyed, Inuyasha and Bankotsu continue their battle, clashing each other with lightning attacks. The alter ornament Saint Hakushin is mystically summoned and has purified the Tetsusaiga. A barrier is formed around Bankotsu, transporting him to a hidden temple. Inuyasha and his companions make their way head towards Mount Hakurei. However, The power of the barrier erected by the spirit of Saint Hakushin cannot be broken nor crossed by any demon.
