Following the destruction of the barrier, Inuyasha and Bankotsu engage in a fierce battle involving lightning attacks. The alter ornament Saint Hakushin is mystically summoned to purify the Tetsusaiga, subsequently creating a barrier that transports Bankotsu to a hidden temple. Inuyasha and his companions proceed toward Mount Hakurei, but the barrier erected by Saint Hakushin’s spirit remains impenetrable to any demon. Consequently, Miroku and Sango enter the barrier to search for Naraku, while Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, and Kirara remain outside to wait.
