在一個所有水源皆遭污染、僅剩水庫中存有少量安全用水的世界裡，一名名叫Sanga的男子建立了一處名為The Lastland的防禦區域。當一群村民發現了安全的水源時，Sanga便率領武裝部隊企圖強行佔據。途中，一名名叫Kenshiro的男子出現，迅速擊斃了Sanga手下數人。Kenshiro掌握著一種強大的武術，名為Hokuto Shin Ken。Sanga決意不惜一切代價取得水源，而Kenshiro則誓在阻止他。
