Shidou Itsuka continues his mission with Ratatoskr as new challenges arise. While out, he encounters a woman in need and assists her. At her home, she introduces herself as Nia Honjou, a manga artist using a pen name. Nia quickly discloses that she is a Spirit and knows about Shidou's work. She expresses interest in testing his abilities by going on a date with him. As Shidou attempts to find a way to neutralize her powers, he discovers her connection to Deus Ex Machina Industries, a company with which he has prior experience.
