Tanabata no Oto

A girl named Nanase lives in a village known for having the most beautiful stars in Japan. Inspired by the legend of Orihime and Hikoboshi, she often looks at the night sky. After moving to a city with no visible stars, she writes in her notebook about how to create the Milky Way. Three girls discover her notes—Riko, a strong and assertive leader; Mio, a science enthusiast; and Airi, who is drawn to trends. The four, despite their differing interests and personalities, begin a bold effort to recreate the Milky Way. Separately, a series of animated music videos was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Calpis. These videos feature songs by five different Japanese artists, including "Musubareta Omoi" by Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku, "Kimi to Mitai Keshiki" by MaRuRi & Ryuga, "Shoukei" by Oisicle Melonpan, "Ao" by KOBASOLO feat. harutya, and "Sora ni Hikaru" by Toy cleanse.
