Ep. 7: Takuya investigates Light of Hope Academy while uncovering past regrets and Lacuna Chemical connections.

A flashback reveals Takuya and Geek’s past incident at a cabaret bar, where a future police superior assisted them. In the present, Takuya, Yoshiaki, Yuuji, and Keigo travel to Light of Hope Academy, discussing its link to the Lacuna Chemical factory. At Eiji’s house, Geek digs a ditch while Kikyou reports abnormal gravitational waves. Yuki tends to comatose Souma and discusses her past partnership with Takuya before the Lost incident. The group enters a time rift at the academy, encountering familiar children and caretaker Hinako. Yumiko explains Takuya previously worked there as a double agent investigating child abuse. To escape, Takuya must dispel the regret surrounding the place, which originates from himself. Hinako’s regret and Takuya’s refusal to attend a circus align with the Lost incident. As dusk falls, Kikyou discusses the symbolism of the Japanese anemone with Geek. Hinako resolves to reveal the truth to the children, but the rift dissolves, returning them to reality. Yumiko confirms Takuya quit the agency after the Lost incident. A finance log found in a birdhouse shows deposits from Lacuna Chemical Laboratory. Takuya returns to Eiji’s home, learning the Academy Principal may be alive.
