Ep. 4: Teito confronts a Kor while Mikage refuses to betray his friend
Teito speaks with an old man about his desire to see Mikage, prompting the man to place a symbol on Teito’s neck. During a vision, Teito attempts to reach Mikage but is halted by a flower from Labrador, revealing the presence of Bishops. Frau attacks the old man, who is revealed to be a Kor, and summons a large scythe that shocks Teito with its visibility. While the Bishops engage the entity, Frau explains that aiding the fight would harm the man’s soul. After freeing the Kor from the old man’s spirit and removing the symbol from Teito’s chest, Frau explains that Kor manipulate desires, granting wishes only to trap hosts in endless dissatisfaction and darkness. Meanwhile, at the Academy, Mikage decides not to betray his best friend, causing an enraged Ayanami to unleash a surge of Zaiphon at him.
