Ep. 8: Mikage's Final Plea and Teito's Transformation into a Red-Eyed Guardian

Labrador warns of an impending storm as Mikage experiences a painful internal awakening, begging Teito to end his life. Mikage confesses his deep affection for Teito before Ayanami possesses him, manifesting a single Kor wing. The ensuing battle leaves Teito injured, forcing him to flee with assistance from Castor’s doll. At the main Church, Castor and Frau detect the disturbance and the arrival of a half Kor. Teito is soon captured by Ayanami, who places a restraining collar on him. Desperate to save Mikage, Teito attempts suicide but loses consciousness. A guardian then appears in a flash of light, revealing Teito’s eyes to be blood red. Ayanami watches in surprise as Teito asks, “Who are you to hurt my master?”
