Mikage debates leaving the church while Teito talks with him, unaware that Castor’s doll is watching. A flashback recalls their academy days before Mikage spots a boy hiding behind a tree. The boy, Tajio, is caught stealing bread but is released by the bishops. He reveals his mother is dead and his father left for work. Later, Tajio interrupts a church play, believing it to be real, until Mikage intervenes. Tajio’s father arrives to take him home, but he is revealed to be a Kor. Teito and Mikage rush to save the boy. As Teito and Tajio are attacked, the Eye of Mikhail activates and then stops. Frau arrives, defeats the Kor, and Tajio returns home with his father.
