Kyouko invites Fumi, her friends, Akira, and Akira's brother Shinobu to her fiancé Kou's summer villa. They explore a path Kyouko was lost on as a child, sharing ghost stories, cooking curry, and testing their courage, though Akira is easily scared. Fumi praises a painting Kyouko made when she first fell in love with Yasuko. Kou confesses to Akira that he wishes Kyouko loved him instead. Miwa Motegi finds Shinobu cool. Akira stays awake, observing her friends' romantic interests and wondering about her own future feelings. Later, Fumi and Akira stay up late admiring the night sky while searching for a midnight snack, resulting in both of them catching a cold.
