Ep. 2: Gunzou faces Takao while navigating toward Yokosuka with his new command

Having accepted a mission from the Japanese government, Gunzou assumes the role of captain aboard I-401 and sets a course for Yokosuka. His path is obstructed by Takao, a Fleet of Fog Heavy Cruiser who actively opposes his progress. As the engagement continues, Takao systematically destroys I-401's decoys and poses a direct threat to the submarine itself. Recognizing the escalating danger and the futility of evasion, Gunzou determines that a direct confrontation is unavoidable. He prepares for a decisive showdown to resolve the conflict with the opposing cruiser and ensure the safe completion of his assigned objectives.
