Ep. 17: Sinbad encounters a Smoke Genie in a jar and outwits him to gain a treasure map

Sinbad survives a desert sandstorm and is rescued by a widow in Tessa. To repay her, he fishes using her late husband's nets and discovers a sealed jar. Inside is a Smoke Genie imprisoned by the Blue Demon King for aiding humans. The genie attempts to kill Sinbad, but the boy tricks him into re-entering the jar. The genie then offers to guide Sinbad to treasure in exchange for freedom. He directs Sinbad to a lake surrounded by four hills to catch four differently colored fish for the local king. Upon fulfilling this task, the Demon King's curse forces the genie back into the sea. This narrative adapts elements from "The Fisherman and the Jinni" and "The Ensorcelled Prince."
