Sinbad's party discovers a ruined city where villagers worship a headless winged horse statue. They investigate a village terrified of a creature called The Great God. After an attack, they find the statue alive and locate a buried talking stone head requesting reattachment. Once restored, the creature reveals itself as a demon decapitated by the Demon King, challenging them to ride it to survive. All three attempts fail until a thunderstorm begins. Sinbad instructs Ali Baba to attach his dagger to the demon. A lightning bolt, drawn to the steel, strikes and destroys the stone creature, saving the group from its wrath.
