Concerned for Sinbad, Hassan journeys to the Blue Demon king's treasure cave to retrieve the genie lamp, but Sugaru arrives first and claims it. The Lamp Genie respects Sinbad, so Sugaru discards the lamp and takes a magic mirror that petrifies anyone who looks into it. She uses this artifact to disable most of Sinbad's friends, but Sinbad, Shera, and Hassan, guided by the Lamp Genie, wrest the mirror from her and turn her to stone. The Blue Demon King attacks but accidentally stabs his own reflection in the mirror, becoming petrified himself. His death breaks the curses he placed on his victims, allowing Sinbad to reunite with his parents and Uncle Ali, while Shera sees her parents return to their human forms. Following their triumphant return to Baghdad and a brief rest, Sinbad, Ali Baba, and Aladdin set out again for new adventures.
