Kou engages in an argument with an Amazon Warrior, a character resembling a Saitama stereotype who is obsessed with snacks. He is subsequently knocked unconscious and returned to Arakawa. Later, the group encounters a strange man who believes he is the Captain of the Earth Defense Force and intends to fight the Venusians. Kou attempts to scare the man away, but his efforts fail. Instead, Nino successfully drives him off by offering an overly warm and enthusiastic welcome to the delusional individual.
