Following the return to base with a comatose Yuri, the FUNERAL headquarters is taken over by a new invader group piloting advanced SARG units. Commander Ines is deposed, and a second traitor is exposed among the staff. High-ranking personnel are transported to another location for interrogation, during which the remaining team analyzes available data to uncover the invaders' deep historical involvement, tracing their interference back to the original creation of Frank at the research facility. David Lawrence arrives in a SARG to intercept the transport, delivering alarming intelligence that another massive invader is approaching Earth. This entity measures over 8,000 km in length and possesses sufficient mass and magnetic force to destroy the planet, presenting an immediate existential threat to the survivors.
