At the beginning of the episode, Guenevere's SARG is contaminated by an alien's punch. During the team's return to base, the unit breaks formation and heads toward the Pilgrimage Point. Attempts to free Guenevere fail as her SARG attacks Dan and Sue, knocking them out of commission. Due to the imminent threat of the rogue SARG reaching the Pilgrimage Point, UN fighters armed with nuclear warheads are dispatched to intercept it and prevent its arrival at the destination.
